Terms of service · v2.1

The fine print.

Nothing surprising. We try to write it in English that doesn't require a law degree.

Updated: 14 March 2026 · Applies to: every order placed at bostonpiizze.com, 892 College Street, or by phone. By placing an order you agree to what's below.

A — Orders & acceptance

We accept orders at our discretion. In practice this means: if you're placing an order that looks like fraud, if the kitchen has already closed, or if you're trying to order something we've run out of, we'll decline or substitute (and call you).

B — Prices & tax

All prices on this website and on our menu are Canadian dollars, exclusive of 13% Ontario HST. The total at checkout will show tax separately. We re-print the menu each quarter — prices on this web page are authoritative for online orders and update immediately when a menu change happens.

C — Payment

We do not accept online card payments. All delivery orders are settled at the door — cash or Interac e-Transfer, whichever suits you. Pickup orders are settled at the counter (cash, Interac debit, or major cards for in-person taps). Dine-in bills are paid at the table. This keeps our fees lower, keeps the rider's route simpler, and keeps your card data out of our systems.

D — Delivery

We deliver within a 3.1 km radius (see the Visit page). Delivery is run by our two employees, not a third-party service. Estimated times are estimates, not a guarantee — weather, demand, and bike flat tires happen. We notify you by SMS when the pizza leaves the shop.

E — Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel any time before the pizza enters the oven (usually 5–8 minutes after order confirmation). After that we've committed the ingredients and can't undo it. If we arrive late, incorrect, or the pizza's in bad shape — call us within two hours and we'll replace or refund.

F — Allergies

Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, tree nuts, and shellfish. We cannot guarantee zero cross-contact. If you have a life-threatening allergy, please call the shop before ordering online — our head cook Marco will walk you through what's possible.

G — Private events

Full-restaurant buyouts for private events are available on Mondays and Tuesdays (our closed days) with 6 weeks notice. A separate contract applies. Email piizzeria@bostonpiizze.com.

H — Liability

Our liability on any claim related to an order is capped at the amount paid for that order. We aren't liable for consequential damages (missed weddings, lost revenue, hurt feelings). The shop carries commercial general liability insurance through Economical Mutual.

I — Our content

The text, photos, menu, and design of this website are ours. Lifting photos for your own restaurant's Instagram is embarrassing and also a copyright violation. Don't.

J — Governing law

Ontario law, federal Canadian law where it applies. Any dispute we can't resolve by email or phone we'd go to Superior Court of Ontario, Toronto region.
